Aneeq Ahmad appointed Head of Manufacturing at Engro Fertilizers Ltd

Engro Fertilizers Ltd has appointed Aneeq Ahmad, a highly experienced management and engineering professional, as its new Head of Manufacturing. Ahmad joins with over 23 years of expertise across petrochemical manufacturing, project management, and supply chain, bringing a strong foundation in construction, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, commissioning, and expansion operations.

In his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer at Engro Vopak Terminals, Ahmad played a crucial role in advancing Pakistan’s supply chain framework. Under his leadership, the terminal operations became a linchpin in the country’s logistics and distribution networks, enhancing operational efficiency across key sectors. Prior to this, his tenure at Engro Polymer & Chemicals saw him successfully manage an international sourcing portfolio valued at $150 million annually. His efforts in optimizing procurement processes not only streamlined operations but also laid a strong foundation for grooming the company’s next generation of leaders.

Now, in his capacity at Engro Fertilizers, Ahmad will oversee the largest urea manufacturing facility in Pakistan, which is responsible for meeting 35% of the national demand. His leadership is expected to enhance production efficiency and maintain Engro’s strong commitment to operational excellence and safety standards.
