Laiba Khan, a popular Pakistani actress who has impressed audiences with exemplary performances, has announced that she would be saying goodbye to the film industry.
She was known for overnight fame since she entered the showbiz scene a few years ago. She is preparing for more time out for personal life now.
The actress had recently appeared on the most popular comedy show, talking about her journey, future plans, and the challenges of working in showbiz.
After reflecting upon her past, she said, “When I first entered this industry, my family had warned me that it would be tough to leave the fame, money, and success once you start experiencing it.”
The Kaffara actress admitted that she had set a personal target for herself, that she would be in the industry only for five years. “This is now my fifth year, and I’m at a crossroads. I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that I want to settle down in life soon,” she added.
When asked to narrate her opinion regarding marriage, Laiba stated that her priorities have changed over time. “I want to marry a man who respects me, not as a person but within his home as well. Someone who emotionally understands and supports me,” she added.
She elaborated on how her knowledge about love has changed over the years. “As a kid, I used to be infatuated by outer beauty. But now I know that it’s not the outer beauty but the heart,” she said while getting introspective.
