Lahore based Senior actor Rashid Mahmood, broke into tears after receiving hefty electricity bills. He posted a video on his Facebook account, which has since gone viral.
In viral video, Rashid Mahmood says, “I am Rashid Mahmood; you all know me. I have attached a picture of the electricity bill, which you will see. This is an electricity bill of 45,000 rupees for using 701 units. I have survived four heart attacks, and now I ask Allah why He gave me this life. Was I alive to see this? Why did You save me? How will I pay this bill? We have no drama project in Lahore.”
He further added, “Our politicians and governors are looters; they are living privileged lives, working for their own interests. But the public is being served with heavy bills; there is no work, and we are living with difficulty.”
