“In the early hours of Thursday, heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning affected several areas of Abu Dhabi. Fujairah and internal parts of Sharjah, including Kalba and Al Dhaid, also recorded light to moderate rainfall. Dubai experienced light showers overnight in Al Barsha, Jebel Ali, Al Warsan, Hatta, and the exclave of Dubai.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued a yellow and amber alert for cloudy weather across the country until midnight. The forecast predicts partly cloudy to cloudy weather with scattered rainfall.
Al Ain in Abu Dhabi is anticipated to witness varying intensities of rain, ranging from light to heavy, with the possibility of hail and brisk to strong winds. Abu Dhabi Police issued advisories to motorists, emphasizing safe driving practices and cautioning against reckless behaviors such as drifting and venturing into valleys. Motorists are urged to avoid flooded areas and reduce speeds.
