The countdown to the 2024 T20 World Cup to be played in the USA and Caribbean has started, with the tournament less than six months away.
Anticipation is high for this expanded T20 World Cup format, featuring 20 teams, including several associate teams. The event will take place in the Caribbean and the United States, with teams initially divided into four groups of five.
The top two from each group will advance to the Super Eight phase, leading to the semi-finals and the final.
Despite concerns about the readiness of facilities in the US, three venues there and six in the Caribbean will host matches. The tournament is scheduled to run from June 1 to the end of the month.

Venues in USA: Central Broward Park (Lauderhill, Florida), Eisenhower Park (East Meadow, New York), Grand Prairie Stadium (Texas)
