The Ministry of Interior has decided to take strict action to handle Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) planned protest on November 24. Legal action will be taken against individuals involved in any acts of sabotage, and all relevant security agencies have been instructed to remain fully prepared.
According to instructions from the Ministry, security for all government and critical buildings will be enhanced, with heavy deployment of personnel at key locations to prevent any untoward incidents.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior revealed that the government is also considering revoking the academic credentials and admissions of students found involved in sabotage during the protest.
Additionally, discussions are underway regarding the cancellation of passports and national identity cards, as well as the blocking of mobile SIMs, of those participating in disruptive activities linked to the PTI protest.
In view of potential terrorism threats, the Ministry has intensified the monitoring of suspicious locations and has also initiated the geo fencing of Afghan refugee camps to address any illegal activities.
Security agencies are on high alert, and all necessary measures have been implemented to ensure law and order during this critical period.
