Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the playing XI for the third T20 match against New Zealand.
Three changes have been made in the Pakistan team; Osama Mir, Aamer Jamal, and Abbas Afridi are excluded, while Wasim Junior, Mohammad Nawaz, and Zaman Khan have been included in the national team.
The rest of the team comprises captain Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Haris Rauf, Wasim Junior, Zaman Khan, and Azam Khan (wicketkeeper).
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, fast bowler Abbas Afridi is out of the third T20 against New Zealand due to an abdominal strain. The severity of Abbas Afridi’s injury has not been diagnosed, and a decision on his availability for the next two matches will be made later.
The third T20 match between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played on January 17th in New Zealand at 5 AM Pakistani time. New Zealand is currently leading the five-match series against Pakistan with a 2-0 advantage.
