Pakistan’s security forces have been actively engaged in operations against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces. A recent operation in South Waziristan district resulted in the deaths of 11 terrorists linked to an Indian proxy group, “Fitna al Khwarij”, while two army officers, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah and Lance Naik Jibran Ullah, lost their lives. This operation underscores the ongoing efforts of Pakistan’s security forces to eliminate terrorist threats and maintain peace and stability in the region .
The military’s commitment to eradicating terrorism is evident in the numerous operations conducted across the country. In Balochistan, security forces killed 24 militants in a series of operations, while four soldiers and two civilians lost their lives. These operations were launched in response to attacks on the Mach and Kolpur Complexes in Balochistan. The security forces have also been successful in killing key terrorist commanders, including Shehzad Baloch, Attaullah, Salah Uddin, Abdul Wadood, and Zeeshan .
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, multiple operations have resulted in the deaths of dozens of terrorists linked to India-sponsored groups. The security forces have also recovered significant caches of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the slain militants. For instance, in a recent operation in Khyber district, security forces killed a terrorist sniper, while in another operation in South Waziristan, three terrorists were killed .
These operations demonstrate Pakistan’s determination to root out terrorism and ensure peace and stability in the region. Despite facing challenges and losing soldiers in these operations, the security forces remain committed to their mission. The bravery and dedication of the security personnel are crucial in the country’s efforts to eradicate terrorism.
