The Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) has announced the establishment of four new Special Technology Zones (STZs) across Pakistan, with a significant infrastructure investment of PKR 30 billion.
These STZA zones are part of the government’s strategic efforts to boost Pakistan’s technology sector by fostering innovation, driving economic growth, and attracting both local and international investments.
These Special Technology Zones (STZA) aim to create state-of-the-art technology ecosystems that encourage the development of IT, software, hardware, and other tech-related industries. By offering advanced infrastructure, tax incentives, and streamlined regulations, the zones will provide a conducive environment for startups, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and large tech companies to operate and grow.
The newly designated zones include:
-
NUST Special Technology Zone in Islamabad
-
Tech7 Special Technology Zone in Islamabad
-
Mindbridge Special Technology Zone in Lahore
