Gold Prices Experience Increment in Local and Global Markets

On Wednesday, the per tola price of 24 karat gold in Pakistan witnessed a slight uptick, marking an increase of Rs.100 compared to the previous trading day.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the precious metal was sold at Rs.229,500, rising from Rs.229,400.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also saw a marginal rise of Rs.86, reaching Rs.196,760 from its previous rate of Rs.196,674. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold increased to Rs.180,363 from Rs.180,284.

In contrast, the prices of silver remained steady, with the per tola and ten-gram rates holding at Rs.2,580 and Rs.2,211.93, respectively.

Internationally, the price of gold experienced a modest increase as well. The global market recorded a rise of $7, bringing the price of gold to $2,200 per ounce from its previous value of $2,193.

These fluctuations in gold prices reflect the dynamics of both local and international markets, influenced by various economic factors and investor sentiments.
