Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr have their sights set on redemption as they return to the UAE for the Saudi Super Cup showdown over the weekend.
Facing off against Al Hilal at the Mohamed Bin Zayed Stadium on Monday, Al Nassr aims to erase the memory of their recent defeat in the Emirates. Last month, Al Ain dealt a blow to the star-studded Al Nassr with a 1-0 victory in the Asian Champions League quarter-final, followed by a loss on penalties in Riyadh.

However, Al Nassr has since staged an impressive comeback, securing four consecutive wins in the Saudi Pro League, with Ronaldo leading the charge. The Portuguese icon recently notched his second hat-trick in three days during their dominant 8-0 victory over Abha, showcasing his prowess with three goals and two assists in the first half alone.
As the league’s top scorer with 29 goals, Ronaldo aims to continue his stellar form on UAE soil. Meanwhile, their opponents, Al Hilal, face a setback with striker Aleksandar Mitrovic likely sidelined for the remainder of the season due to injury.
