Actors’ old pictures have been making rounds on the internet
Social media platforms recently witnessed a wave of nostalgia as Pakistani actors shared throwback pictures, giving fans a glimpse into their past projects and early career moments.
Sajal Ali took to her Instagram Story to reshare a post from a dedicated fan account, featuring an old picture of herself alongside fellow actor Maya Ali. In the heartwarming snapshot, both actors can be seen smiling at the camera, with Maya holding a child.
Accompanying the image was overlaying text from Sajal expressing her nostalgia, hinting that the picture captured a behind-the-scenes moment from a memorable project. “Haye, looking at the old picture brings back so many memories with my dear Maya, tufaani project tha yeh ek (this project was explosive),” the 30-year-old reminisced, evoking fond memories among fans.
Meanwhile, enthusiasts were also treated to a delightful throwback picture of actor and model Wahaj Ali. The image resurfaced when fashion photographer Azeem Sani reposted a page from a magazine on his Instagram Story.
The page showcased a picture taken by Sani back in 2012, titled “Introducing Wahaj and Zayad,” marking Wahaj’s debut shoot as a model. Reflecting on the passage of time, the photographer remarked on the picture, “How time flies,” highlighting the journey of the actor since his early days in the industry.
Clad in a white dress shirt with a neat shave, it is of little wonder that the Tere Bin actor in his early twenties achieved steady fame and became a household darling. The throwback snapshots have stirred a sense of nostalgia and excitement among fans, offering a glimpse into the personal and professional lives of their favourite celebrities.
In February, actor Mawra Hocane also took fans on a heartwarming trip down memory lane, treating her IG followers to a delightful glimpse into her past by sharing a series of old pictures spanning her childhood, teenage years and early career.
Without offering much context, the Sammi actor penned a brief, poetic caption “Choota jeevan saara.” The photo montage begins with an adorable snapshot of Mawra clad in blue, showcasing a candid smile from years ago as suggested by the picture’s quality.
The album progressed to a picture of her sports academy membership card from her childhood. Spelling her name as ‘Mawara Hussain,’ the card carries a picture of the actor as a child. While her exact age at that time is not known, the card’s date of expiry reads December 2000.
