The 37 year old working in Pittsburgh University was found dead in his townhouse. He had suffered neck, head and torso injury. Investigators have confirmed that he was killed for a personal issue. “A second man that NBC News identified as Hao Gu, 46, was also found dead in his car less than a mile away from Liu’s home. Investigators think Gu killed Liu in his home before killing himself,” Ross Police Department Detective Sgt. Brian Kohlhepp said in a statement. Officials have yet found “zero evidence” that incident was related to his research or his employment.
The University of Pittsburgh said in a statement that they were “deeply saddened by the tragic death of Bing Liu.”Another statement from the Department of Computational and Systems Biology states, “Bing was on the verge of making very significant findings toward understanding the cellular mechanisms that underlie SARS-CoV-2 infection and the cellular basis of the following complications, we will make an effort to complete what he started in an effort to pay homage to his scientific excellence.” Liu worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Carnegie Mellon University after earning his Ph.D. in computational science from the National University of Singapore, currently he was employed in the research department at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Ad-mist all the conspiracy theories arising out of this pandemic situation, this news is just the right tonic to fuel those theories. How can someone of that stature out of no-where get killed by his own close friends who is also then found dead some distance apart? Are all these clues to something that a lot of different analysts are now pointing at could this pandemic be an actual conspiracy to stall the world?
