McDonald’s is dropping its much-ballyhooed line of premium burgers

After two years McDonald’s cuts off its first sandwich line, Signature Crafted Recipes

Some of your favorite night-time desires may soon be missing out on McDonald’s menu. The food giant claims to offer more than half a dozen menus between midnight and 5am.

McDonald’s lays down its sandwiches of the highest quality.

The signature Crafted Recipes were introduced in May 2017 and included Pico Guacamole, Sweet BBQ Bacon and Maple Bacon Dijon, all around or above the $5 mark.

“Based on customer (customer) feedback, we will distance ourselves from the recipe line in our national menu,” said McDonald’s on his website. “Our fresh new Quarter Pounder lineup brings customers more of the craveable, customizable and delicious tastes they love.”

When a trade line was discovered two years ago, Chris Kempczinski, President of McDonald’s in the United States, said adding to the menu would “increase food supplies” and attract millions.

At the time, experts argued that the company’s own recipes were an attempt by the company to compete with fast-moving restaurants, food companies, but no serving tables, and so-called better burger chains.

The McDonald's Signature Crafted Recipes line are more

According to Robert Derrington, a senior restaurant analyst at the Telsey Advisory Group, a brokerage firm in New York, Signature Crafted Recipes foods did not sell well, and in March 2018, McDonald’s increased its game by introducing non-frozen meat in its Quarter Pounders.

“They did it with fresh beef,” he said. “They do not seem to have to top the menu, instead they can succeed with their basic Product with updated ingredients.”

Peter Saleh, Managing Director of BTIG Broker in New York, was not surprised that the line of top quality sandwiches received an ax comparing them to Angus’ third pound, which was introduced in 2009 and cut in 2013.

“They have a long history of premium items that really were not on their menu,” he said. The buzz “has diminished somewhat and it remains a platform that does not respond with the guests in terms of sales.”

Saleh added that the sandwiches with processed recipes took too long to make, and the problem is when McDonald’s so much work done is underway.

The end of Signature Crafted Recipes sandwiches was not the only big news from McDonald’s. Earlier this month, the burger chain announced that the midnight menu will be cut from midnight to 5pm on April 30 at the participating restaurants.
