DG ISPR statement came after Pakistani cricket fans were demanding to wear military style caps and shirts during the PSL final in Karachi in response to Indian cricket team wore camouflage caps during a one-day international against Australia in Ranchi last week.
A campaign had been launched on social media by cricket fans for wearing the caps.
All Pakistanis are requested to wear military caps in the PSL final, this is the opportunity to let the Pakistani people do not let it go waste. سب پاکستانی بھائیوں سے گزارش ہیں پی ایس ایل کے فائنل میں فوجی ٹوپیاں پہن کے جائے مہربانی یہی موقع ہیں پاکستانی قوم کے پاس اسے ضائع نہ

India wore a military cap in the third one-day match against Australia, which is an open violation of the ICC rules. The only thing that India did to do this is to reduce Pakistan only. The fans who are looking to see the PSL final will wear a clean army cap and go to the stadium
