Pakistan’s legendary cricketer, the great Zaheer Abbas exclaimed in a media event that Pakistan’s current captain across all three format (ODI, T20 and Test matches), Sarfraz Ahmed must quit from any of the the three formats in order to release extra pressure exerted upon himself, so he could focus better on the other two formats.
Furthermore, he added that Sarfraz’s performance as a batsman has also not been up to the mark, especially in Test matches.
Undoubtedly, he has done very well as the T20 and ODI captain, however that is not the case for the Test format. He should consider resigning as the captain and handing it over to someone better suited from the team.
Moin Khan also showed displeasure on his performances but added that the scrutiny caused by bad performances of Pakistan in Test matches should not be focused on just the captain. The team and the coach also deserve criticism for it.
