The 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup Trophy has landed in Lahore as a part of its overall trophy visit
The trophy will be shown for open at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore tomorrow.
After couple of days, the trophy will then go to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on October 6 while its trip will finish at the National Stadium in Karachi on October 13.
With more stops than any other time in recent memory, the trophy will begin its adventure from the ICC central station in Dubai on Monday, 27 August 2018. Bridging five mainlands, 21 nations and more than 60 urban areas the “most connected Trophy Tour ever” will enable fans far and wide to get up near the desired prize that will be lifted at Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 14, 2019.
During the nine-month venture, the trophy will make a trip not only to countries taking part in the competition, yet interestingly will go beyond tradition cricket heartlands and associate with fans in a further 11 nations where cricket is developing including Nepal, USA and Germany.
