Court sentences BOL & Axact’s CEO Shoaib Sheikh to seven years in prison


A locale and sessions court in Islamabad reported decision in Axact counterfeit degree embarrassment case on Thursday, condemning Axact CEO Shoaib Sheik among 23 others to 7 years in jail.

Locale and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Mumtaz Hussain Thursday reported the decision on finish of becoming aware of the case.

The preliminary court judge had before vindicated Axact CEO and other denounced for the situation. Extra locale and sessions judge Pervaiz-ul-Qadir Memon had admitted to getting Rs5 million for clearing Shoaib Sheik for the situation.

Afterward, the Federal Investigation Agency had recorded an interest against the exoneration of denounced, which was acknowledged by the Islamabad High Court.

The IHC had then pronounced the exoneration of Sheik and others void.

It had requested the sessions court to against tune in to the last contentions and declare a decision for the situation
