Previous Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Ayesha Gulalai declared on Sunday that four transgender people will challenge in the forthcoming general election on her recently formed political party’s ticket.
Gulalai, who had declared to quit the PTI in August a year ago subsequent to leveling assertions of badgering and harassment against party executive Imran Khan, shaped her own political gathering by the name of ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Gulalai’ prior this year.
In a public interview prior today, Gulalai told that four transgender people to be specific: Nayab Ali, Nadeem Kashish, Lubna Lal and Madam Rani will challenge the election on her party’s ticket.
Nadeem Kashish will challenge the races from NA-52 against previous government serve Tariq Fazal Chaudhry in Islamabad; Nayab Ali will challenge from NA-142 constituency; Lubna Lal from PP-26 in Jhelum and Madam Rani from PK-40 for Haripur provincial assembly, Gulalai said.
Bemoaning the treatment towards the transgender group in Pakistan, Gulalai said the general public had a long way to go from how the West treats the minorities and transgender people. Referring to a case, she indicated out Canada’s emissary to Norway is a transgender.
The MNA additionally said that she will challenge the races from six voting public, and will go up against Imran Khan in Rawalpindi and against Ali Tareen in Lodhran.
The general decisions are planned to be held on July 25, 2018.
