PEMRA received a letter from Zam tv network complaining about the signal interference causing disruption in transmission and channels reception. The letter has also revealed that See TV is in trouble due to external interferences by an illegal channel disguising itself as the official See TV relayed through Pak-Sat assuming that the later has changed its license logo into S.
Interestingly the programming content is same in both of See TV and S TV creating more confusion for the cable operators. Responding to the vide letter of Zam TV, PEMRA has also dispatched the official parameters of See TV considering the perpetual confusion and continuous external interferences.
While responding to the vide letter of Zam TV PEMRA has also instructed to ban all illegal channels from the distribution networks until the process of rectification is completed. Moreover, it has also been brought to the notice of PEMRA that some people are misguiding cable operators by self-proclaiming to be the representatives of PEMRA license distributors and by siding with the illegal S TV. DG (operations-distributions) of PEMRA has directed all RGMs to take necessary legal action.
