Following a successful and commendable event of ARY Film Festival in 2017, the festival is set to return for its second edition in 2018 for which submissions are now open till November 30th 2017.
The festival that lasted three days commenced in May 2017 and screened 33 films, the film’s were shortlisted from around 400 entries, the Internationally acclaimed Lyari Notes was also screened at the event as well as Brave Heart: the Lizzie Veazquez story. Anjum Shehzad mah e Mir was also showcased.
Additionally, Academy award winner Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy’s ‘Song of Lahore’ was also premiered at the festival. Delhi International Film Festival was also one of the collaborating partners of the festival.
The platform is open for submissions once again in the category of Short Film, Feature Film, Short Documentary and Feature Documentary, as we aim to make the event better and bigger this time.
