Ladies! what can be better than a man in a suit? Well, dozens of men in suits riding motorbikes. That’s exactly what went down in Pakistan over the weekend and there were over 537 of them to be precise.
They wore hats , bow-ties, handkerchiefs, tux and suit jackets and some even sported a beard for that perfect gentleman look.
The men had a great reason to be out and about strolling on their two wheelers, they aimed to raise awareness in regards to prostate cancer.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride’ is the world’s greatest motorcycling charity event raising awareness and funding for prostrate cancer research. The event takes place across 90 countries and this was the second time Pakistan participated and witnessed a commendable outcome raising over $2000.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was initiated in Sydney, Australia by Mark Hawwa. He gathered inspiration from Don Draper from mad men who rode bike in a suit
Mark thought a purpose along with a theme will be fun and attention grabbing it will also be a great way to combat negative stereotypes associated with men and bikes.
Mark Hawwa from Sydney, Australia said, “The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride and I are extremely proud of our Pakistan community of riders. They continue to grow in numbers of registrants, cities and importantly the funds are being raised for prostate cancer research and male suicide prevention,” he said.
Rider Sarosh Butt a fellow participant told MediaBites:
” This was an international event which took place at the same day world wide in pakistan LAHORE, karachi and Islamabad the experience was extra ordinary
