Just last year, the tech giant opened not one, but two Apple Stores in the UAE, at Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates and Abu Dhabi’s Yas Mall.
The last time two Apple Stores were launched at the same time in the same country was way back on May 19, 2001 — when the first two Apple Stores were opened in the United States in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia, and Glendale, California. The move shows the company’s commitment to further developing its presence in the region.
Between the two UAE Apple Stores, there are over 150 employees who speak 40 languages and represent 30 nationalities.
